Leeanne is a dynamic professional with a diverse background spanning emergency services, hospitality, award-winning television advertising, and veterinary leadership. As the Practice Manager at Maricamp Animal Hospital, she applies her expertise to provide impactful operational oversight, support team success, connect with pet owners, and promote essential veterinary services.

With a background in firefighting, EMT, and CNA work, Leeanne has always been dedicated to helping others, a passion that now extends into her leadership and management efforts within the veterinary field. She is also a former owner of three hotels, bringing valuable business acumen, customer service experience, and leadership skills to every project she undertakes.

Her achievements include winning a Cable TV Emmy in 2005 for television advertising, a testament to her creative vision and strategic business skills. Beyond her professional life, Leeanne is a proud mother of five, grandmother to fifteen, happily married, and a devoted dog mom to Blue and Sparrow.

John is our Director of Expansion. His eagerness to embrace new medical treatments and technology, combined with his passion for animal well-being, makes him a great fit for this role after serving as our Director of Medical Services for several years.

Originally from New York City, John grew up between Colombia and the United States. He earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Universidad de La Salle in Bogotá, Colombia, where he also worked as a research and teaching assistant.

He and his wife, who is also a veterinarian, owned an animal hospital for nearly 10 years before deciding to move to the Sunshine State, where they enjoy going to the beach and spending time outdoors with their two children. In his free time, John enjoys cooking while listening to music, spoiling their dog and two cats, watching movies, reading, and staying up to date on innovations in both human and veterinary medicine.

Jenna, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, developed her passion for animals early in life. She began volunteering at local shelters during high school and had the amazing opportunity to foster puppies and kittens until they were ready for their new homes. Shortly after graduation, Jenna joined the Maricamp Team, where her love and respect for animals grew even deeper. She is currently expanding her expertise and skills in Tech School to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Outside of her professional life, Jenna enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her five dogs, and exploring new destinations, cuisines, and cultures through international travel.

Born and raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico where he grew up surrounded by animals of all kinds. He studied mechanical engineering but what has always called his attention was veterinary medicine, so he made a huge career change to pursue what he is truly passionate about, which is working with animals. He completed his veterinary assistant associate degree with Advantage Technical College at Puerto Rico and worked in PrimeVet veterinary hospital for almost 2 years as a veterinary technician. Recently he just moved to Florida with his family to start a new and better life.

Savannah was born in Coral Springs Florida, then raised in Woodstock Georgia, where she had all sorts of animals growing up like dogs, ferrets, cats, chickens, and goats. Right then, she knew she had to do something with animals. She was raised in Georgia in her early years until high school came around, there was a program in Fort Lauderdale Florida where she could become certified in veterinary assisting at the end of graduation. Savannah and her family ended up moving to Aurora Colorado after graduation so she could go to college at a place called; Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. Savannah eventually moved to Ocala Florida to be with her friends and family and ended up fulfilling her dreams as an assistant at an animal clinic. She is working on going back to school to become certified as a veterinarian technician.

Kaitlin was born and raised in Ocala, FL. She has been around animals her whole life, mainly dogs. She has always had a passion for helping animals and caring for them. She started as a Veterinary Receptionist right out of high school but knew she wanted to do more, she then worked her way up to a Veterinary Technician. She has five dogs of her own that she cares for dearly. In her free time, you can find her hanging out with her family and animals or at Disney enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.

Janessa is a Customer Care Representative with a lifelong love for animals, science, and helping others. Originally from Maryland and later raised in Florida, she discovered her passion for animal care through hands-on experience with a wide range of pets—from goats and ducks to her current crew of five dogs.

Her background in agriculture and biology, along with caring for animals through surgeries and even labor, has given her a deep understanding of the bond between pets and their families.

Being part of the customer care team has been especially meaningful to Janessa—she finds it inspiring to support both pets and their people, helping them feel heard, comforted, and cared for whether on the phone or in person.

Outside of work, you’ll find her exploring nature trails with her dogs, thrifting, reading, gaming, and supporting small businesses.

Toni relocated to Florida from Chicago seven years ago following her husband’s retirement. With a lifelong passion for animal welfare, Toni has dedicated many years to the field of veterinary medicine, gaining extensive experience in a variety of settings including veterinary hospitals, animal shelters, rescue organizations, and rehabilitation centers.

Her diverse background has equipped her with a deep understanding of animal health, behavior, and the importance of compassionate care across different environments. Whether assisting with medical treatment, supporting recovery efforts, or helping place animals in loving homes, Toni has always approached her work with empathy, dedication, and professionalism.

At home, Toni shares her life with three dogs, a cat, and a lively flock of chickens. She values the companionship of animals and believes they play an essential role in enriching our lives.

In her spare time, Toni enjoys spending time with her family and tending to her garden, where she finds peace and fulfillment. Her commitment to animal care and her nurturing spirit make her a valued part of the team, and she continues to be a positive influence on the lives of both pets and their owners.
