It is vital to keep your puppy or kitty on a schedule of exams so that you and your veterinarian can stay ahead of any health issues. Puppies and kitties should see a veterinarian at 8 weeks old. By 8 weeks we get them started on flea and heartworms prevention, and a total of 4 sets of vaccines for puppies and 3 sets for kitties.
